The Jati necklace finds its inspiration in its meaning: 'birth' in Sanskrit जाित. It is naturally made of multicoloured tourmalines, a thousand-year-old stone.
Tourmaline takes its name from Sinhalese (Sri Lanka), meaning "stones of mixed colors". It is a colorful stone with beautiful shades of pink, green, ochre and black. Sometimes called a rainbow stone, it also inspires creativity, and it's this random gradation of colors that has inspired Titya since she was a child.
Tourmalines from India, cut directly in Jaipur, may have natural inclusions.
